Using Twitter to Follow The News

In an attempt to keep in touch with what’s happening in the technology world, I’m following a number of different news sites’ Twitter feeds. Though my RSS reader Feedly is also a top application on my phone, and I check it daily, I also have committed to following Twitter feeds. Tweets can be a great way to get headlines and main messages out. Generally speaking, the tweets are posted chronologically and I can read an article as it’s posted. Here are a few of the Twitter feeds that I’m following on a daily basis:

https://twitter.com/TechCrunch
https://twitter.com/WIRED
https://twitter.com/engadget
https://twitter.com/Microsoft
https://twitter.com/CNET
https://twitter.com/mashabletech
https://twitter.com/Gizmodo
https://twitter.com/applenws
https://twitter.com/E3
https://twitter.com/cnntech

All of these Twitter feeds post various articles and news about technology from consumer products such as smartphones, laptops, and video games to things much more complex such as technology being used by NASA or other government/corporate bodies. They are full of great bits of information on a daily basis and should help to give me lots to think and write about in my blog.
